A very good article, Astra, explaining a view I think is shared by many women (and not just immigrants who know firsthand Clinton’s relationship with countries like Saudi Arabia). Truth be told, the election was a choice between two evils, one, perhaps, being less since Trump didn’t have Hillary’s “connections.” If America showed anything during this election, it was a short fuse where “rubbing shoulders” was concerned. Perhaps, unlike Holly Wood’s last article, women demonstrated a keener sense of what a Democrat like Hilly meant in turns of “more of the same.” If that defines the “new woman voter” then maybe men should be learning from them. I’m still surprised considering Trump’s misogynistic comments, but I guess misogynists don’t create as much harm as the dealings of “in power” Democrats. Hard to say, but I think what you said explains a lot.
