Creativity isn’t a license to be different, it’s more a birthright. Maybe we’ve got a rogue gene, something that sparks our unusual interests and possibly our attitude. Yes, you’re right, we will change the world, only because we see the world needs changing. That won’t endear us to anyone. They want creatives with practical applications. Invent a mobile phone, a new fold-up television, a pocket microwave or speakers that look like curtains and you’re golden. Write endless blog/posts offering different viewpoints and you’re a jerk. In other words, creatives have to know their place.
