Great piece, Dave, and so true. It was people like Lear and Frank Capra who reminded us what really makes a country. It’s the joining together, the faith in each other and ourselves. What these men shared was a sense of decency. If that came through in their characters, it could come through with the rest of America. When we point fingers at others, when we lose our faith, it transmits, it makes us all wary and paranoid. Thanks for the post.
