“How to Stop Worrying and Get On With Living” is one of the most defining books of my career—that and William Zinsser’s “On Writing Well.” These books offered advice while the people around me shrugged and said: “Nobody really knows anything.” Many people believe this because it’s easier to live in a topsy turvy world where we’re all bouncing around like amoeba. Fortunately, Dale, William and Ernest still believed in wisdom—and practising it on a daily basis.
