I agree Nassim that bitcoins remind governments that they don’t have a monopoly on currencies but, since we’re mostly zero-intelligence individuals, it won’t take long—if it hasn’t happened already—for people to find themselves bankrupt after finding they don’t have nearly as many bitcoins as they thought they had, and why didn’t someone explain that if you buy bitcoins on margin, you’re not using your own money, and you still have to pay it back? Cryptocurrencies exist to show humans just how silly they are.
