I like Kamala Harris. I was always impressed by her presence and her ability to speak. She’s definitely not a “wallflower.” Of all the candidates, she would’ve been the most effective debating Trump. I say that because she knows her facts, he doesn’t. She’s a black woman, he isn’t. She understands the law, he doesn’t. This may seem like a short list, but it’s not. The combination would have been hard for Trump to handle, and attacking her would’ve been a disaster for him. She doesn’t back down—and she does get her back up. That said, her attacks on Biden were ill-advised and unnecessary, as was bringing up being a poor black girl in L.A. She should have stuck with what she is now, a competent, aggressive, clear-headed adversary. It’s a shame she wasn’t better informed of the “beanbags.” She got bad advice, and that’s a shame. She’s a bloody good politician. Hopefully, she’ll be effective in other areas.
