I think you’ve already given yourself the theme of your article: “Was it because I am not pretty but instead cold and a bit mean?” How many in the #MeToo movement claim they were molested just to give themselves validity? How many just want to say, “I’m just as molestable as you are.” During the rise of The Third Reich, the number of people relating stories of being cheated, molested or starved by Jews was incredible. It added to “the voice.” It justified the actions taken. We can justify so much just by speaking in unison. But, as I said, is it worth the casualty rates, and is it not hubris wanting to be as molestable as the next woman. Or is it vanity?
