I would gladly share my salary information, but I’m worried about hysterical laughter. This has happened too many times before. I try to say I’m fighting for pay equity, but women laugh as much as the men do. I can’t help anyone if they’re going to carry on like this. I’m devoted to pay equity, I’m devoted to fairness. See? People are laughing at me already. That’s “gross” by the way, not “net.” I know my take home is a joke. Can’t I at least be noble? See? They’re laughing at that, too!
