It absolutely amazes me how people like Raffi, Dr. Seuss and Shel Silverstein were (and are) able to clarify issues with such apparent childlike simplicity. I read Shel Silverstein every day. Boiled down to what is essentially truth and falsehood, it becomes quite simple: There are those who lie, and believe it’s necessary, then there are those who tell the truth, and believe truth is necessary. Doesn’t that sum up the American political system today?
