It's hard to know where we went wrong, Jared, whether we've become the product of social media or social media has become the product of us. I live in the country now, a small town, and my neighbours tell me their problems (to them, these are more important than two movie stars). Obviously, we city folk believe the lives of the rich and famous—and their faltering—makes us feel better. From a now small-town perspective, I realize it doesn't. My one neighbour caught a skunk in a trap last night. I'm going to help them relocate the skunk. I know nobody's interested in this but, fortunately. I am.
