I’ve always believe multi-tasking was someone desperately trying to avoid everything. There’s a lot of avoidance with multi-tasking. It keeps life at a distance because you’re too busy to know or care. When I see people standing with their baby carriage, phone, coffee, dog on leash, all moving like a small refugee army down the street, I wonder if she’ll ever see it as ridiculous, or will she be on her death bed saying, “I did it all!”?
