Space travel in general seems like a lot of putting on/taking off stuff, which only gets worse when you get to your destination. The “Pick Up After Your Dog” laws seem a bit harsh considering you’ve got thousands of undeveloped acres around you, and if you still step in dog crap, you really are having a bad day. I would also think the dust on Mars would act the same way kitty litter does with cat turds. If I need an attachment to my Rover to pick up turds, I’d rather keep my pet in a kennel on Earth. It’s expensive but nothing compared to all the attachments and conveniences you need on Mars if you want regular company (at least on the moon you can play Fun With Flags).

I did a poor imitation of Don Draper for 40 years before writing my first novel. I'm currently in the final stages of a children's book. Lucky me.
