This is a very long article where you made some good points but surrounded them with bad. Maher was wrong giving Milos a platform? Many people would realize he’s an idiot but some would not. Emma, the ones who gave him credence will always give him credence. The operative word here is “many.” Many saw him as an idiot. That’s actually a good thing. The idea that ignoring racists makes them go away is a pipe dream. And saying the other soccer players should have refused to be in the picture, forces young soccer players into the forum of politics. On the surface, perhaps you’re right. Below the surface, though, you’ve blamed the wrong people.
