This is interesting, Greg, but it’s hard to believe companies like Facebook had Utopian ideals from the beginning. If it had stayed at the college level then, sure, they could be Utopian all they wanted. But when they saw it grow, and the potential was there to grow worldwide, nobody jumped into the promotional, sensationalistic, algorithm thicket like Facebook and the others. They haven’t been Utopian for years—including Zuckerberg, Soros and all the rest.
