We Need To Thank Trump.
Without him, we never would’ve known the human sewer of nihilists and dog killers existed.
“Hell is empty. The devils are here.” William Shakespeare
You’d think Pope Francis telling Trump he’s “not a Christian” would have the president pausing over some of his appointments, especially after J.D. Vance got stomped by the pontiff for not knowing the first thing about “ordo amoris.”
This is a theological concept meaning “order of love” which, according to the pope, neither man understands. Nor do the people being appointed by Trump in a flurry of nominations that seem both ill-advised and basically stupid.
Some of these candidates aspire to be Steve Bannon or Paul Manafort, two horribly evil men who could’ve walked out of a Machiavellian novel. Keep in mind, Bannon started all this, claiming Trump should start with a mass of ludicrous executive orders, so anything after that would sound reasonable — even coming from a president who claims paper straws “explode.”
They could be accused of being Machiavellian, too, if they didn’t think it was some sort of prophylactic sponge.
