Whenever economies change based on new innovation, there’s always the “ripple effect.” The Industrial Age had one of the greatest ripple effects, driving millions of people (farmhands, laborers, etc.) out of work, signaling what many thought was the end of the world. New technology is going to dramatically change things. We used to all have secretaries. They rarely exist anymore (not in private business, anyway). This is part of the growth cycle. It’s unfortunate, but it happens.
