Yes, breaking rules leads to great discoveries, but it’s also responsible for high crime rates. Ever since we were let out of our cribs, we’ve done one or the other. I think spanking was good. It stopped us doing bad things, and led us down to the path of the personal computer. Take away spanking and we’ll usually go the wrong way. I blame social reformers. We should never have taken spanking off the early developmental table. Men are so much more constructive and creative when they’ve been spanked.
